In these posts, I hope to shed some light on some of the strategies and design processes that we undertake when we are working with our clients so that you can gain an understanding of what design is all about.

I do appreciate that Graphic Design, as a service, is hard to quantify if you have no experience of it. If there are subjects that you are not sure about and have questions about, then please do get in touch via our form at the bottom of the page.

I am happy to receive emails from you but hide the address in a form to avoid being spammed by bots. The form does come through to me though, so don't be concerned about where it is going.

I look forward to hearing any feedback you have.

Kind regards

Such a good feeling when you get it right and your clients are happy with what you do for them. Been a creative week with logos, brochures and blogs, so roll on next week and lets see what else crops up.

Link to an existing debate I couldn't resist getting into: http://www.graphicdesignblog.org/design-agency-or-freelancer-part-2/#comment-3742 "I think i’m just about caught up with this debate and if I were a more sensitive lass I’d be offended at some of the comments. 😂.

What a delight to have worked on this leaflet for Richard Smith. The photography is amazing and the cathedrals are just gorgeous.

Are print services expected from a graphic designer or are design services expected from a printer. I have been approached by a printing company inviting me to join with them in partnership to promote their services and vise versa. I do provide print services to clients at the moment and I have the freedom to shop around and make sure they are getting the best deal. I have built good relationships with my printers and think this is important when providing a service.

Having discussed today the need for brand consistency across all materials that a business would release into the public domain, I felt it a good time to investigate how important it is. Powerpoint presentations can be the best example of how brand consistency can be forgotten. It is not that often that I am approached to design a template for PowerPoint presentations, yet it is one of the most frequently used visual aids when communicating with our customers or clients.
