In these posts, I hope to shed some light on some of the strategies and design processes that we undertake when we are working with our clients so that you can gain an understanding of what design is all about.

I do appreciate that Graphic Design, as a service, is hard to quantify if you have no experience of it. If there are subjects that you are not sure about and have questions about, then please do get in touch via our form at the bottom of the page.

I am happy to receive emails from you but hide the address in a form to avoid being spammed by bots. The form does come through to me though, so don't be concerned about where it is going.

I look forward to hearing any feedback you have.

Kind regards

Who is reading the information you are sharing?
I recently had a conversation with one of my long-standing treasured clients. We have created brochures and print materials together but never anything online. When they asked me to help them with a template for their social media, I put together the following reply and thought it might help someone else, too. Thinking about who is receiving the information you share can help with how you write it.

Understand the medium Having started my design journey before computers were used, I can honestly say that the design process has more creative freedom when it starts in your mind whether the end result will be on paper or on screen. Therefore, the process starts off the same for all mediums.

The Tao Of Pooh. Can't believe I almost forgot this book!! Such a breath of fresh air around Worrying and not to do it! As my friend Suzie asked 'does it tell you how or just not to do it?' ๐Ÿ˜‚ I fear it is the latter but I still found it massively helpful!

I am part of a group where I have been sharing the books I have previously read and thought it might be helpful to share them here too. They form a strong part of why I do things the way I do them and they work for me.
