who

This is a photo of Billie Sharp of innov8 graphic design

Billie Sharp – a wife, mum, Graphic Designer and Creative Director. A creative strategist, digital problem-solver, and no-nonsense straight-talker who genuinely cares about helping people move forward.

"Although the best thing I have ever created is my children, my business comes a close second. Neither would have been possible without my loving and supportive husband, so I'm quite fond of him too! ;)

I went the long way round about qualifying as a Graphic Designer – my pathway went through A-levels, a 2-year Diploma in Design and a 3-year degree in Graphic Design.

innov8 graphic design was born in 2003 and has enabled me to do what I love every working day. I co-run several purpose-driven businesses that combine smart tech with human connection. Whether it’s design, training, or simplifying the complicated, I’m at my best when I’m making life easier and brighter for others."

why

"I think it helps anyone I work with to understand what motivates me in my business. Graphic Design is hard to quantify if you have never experienced it before so I totally understand the uncertainty around it. In short here is my 'why'.

  • I enjoy translating messages into visual communication.
  • I love seeing businesses (new or old) blossom in success.
  • I benefitted massively from live workplace interaction in my design education.
  • I believe 'showing you how', is the most liberating gift anyone can give.
  • I need to satisfy my urge to help people whilst making a living from it.

Doing what I love in my career – enables me to continue delivering that live workplace interaction into schools that I am so grateful for."

what

"Having trained and built a career in Design, I beam with pride that I am now an award winning Graphic Designer and so grateful to have had the opportunities that have come my way. Those opportunities have enabled me to do so much more than I could have imagined..."

Why I created 'Inclusive Optimization' as a training

Because accessibility and SEO should never be in competition – and every voice deserves to be found. I created my Inclusive Optimization training to help people build websites that are not only search-friendly, but human-friendly. It’s about blending empathy with strategy so no one gets left behind online, & making sure websites are utilized as lead generating business tools instead of dormant dust collectors.

Life Is Too Short Limited

Billie Sharp as Creative Director of Life Is Too Short Limited

Why I'm part of Life Is Too Short as Creative Director

Because life is too short for lifeless brands and tick-box marketing. I co-founded Life Is Too Short to help bring big, meaningful topics like Wills, Trusts & LPAs into the light – with colour, warmth, and real human connection. I’m passionate about making it easier (and a little more joyful) for people to engage with decisions that really matter. We educate people and help them make sure their voice is heard beyond their heartbeat.

Ladies Who Latte

Billie Sharp as Director of Ladies Who Latte

Why I've been co-running Ladies Who Latte since 2009

Because community matters – and business shouldn’t feel like a lonely road. I rebranded the organisation and have been leading Ladies Who Latte, alongside Mary Flavelle, since 2009, because I believe in creating safe, welcoming spaces where women can connect, grow, and support each other without pressure or formality. It's about showing up as you are and knowing that’s enough whilst championing eachother in business and success.

Design qualification that goes back to metal type print processes.

"We were so impressed with her work ethic and standard of work that we have since moved our entire website (complete redesign), SEO, online ad campaigns, blogs, hosting and site maintenance over to Billie with absolutely no regrets."
